dressmaking

I am working on the placement of the ruching on this cotton-linen blend dress. This was my first time making circular ruching and it is tedious. I am pleased with the overall look but I am trying to figure out how to work the ruffles in at this point. I'm beginning to think that the front bodice pattern should be designed in three parts to embed the ruffles. 

I think I am going to have to go back to the drawing board. I will definitely make another post when this dress is complete. I am excited to see the finished result.
